Je suis de retour avec d’autres excellents endroits à Montréal où l’on peut prendre une bouchée à manger.

I’m back with more great places to eat in Montreal.

Charcuterie Hebraique de Montréal - Schwartz (3895 Rue Saint-Laurent)

Luckily we were able to walk right in and sit down. During the summer months, it’s not surprising to see a long line up of hungry people hoping to get fill their tummies with the mouth watering Montreal Smoked Meat sandwiches.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t enjoy eating that much meat all at once but it was exceptionally lean. Look at the pickle! Isn’t it massive!

Caffé Art Java -

I still remember eating lunch here on my first trip to Montréal in the summer of 2009. I was so impressed by the art they would draw on their lattes with milk. It was one of the first times I had ever seen that done on lattes. I’ve seen my fair share of java art in Edmonton in the past years. Doesn’t it brighten up your day?

I noticed that in Montreal, there are always people working on their laptops or studying in cafes. A select few actually go to chat with friends… or so it seemed. We walked into one cafe and actually felt the need to whisper. I’d call that a cafe library. We didn’t stay there very long.

Art Java also has delicious paninis and soups. Yum!

La Bulle au Carré  - (3482, rue Saint-Denis)

Before heading to les Rendez-vous du cinéma québecois, we stopped by a crêperie/cafe on the corner of the street. The servers were hilarious and very French. Two things that I love. Haha! Another thing I love is chocolate crêpes and that’s exactly what we ordered.

L’Académie -

For our last dinner we wanted to eat somewhere where we could bring our own wine. We decided that the Italian cusine at L’Académie would complement our red and white wines very well and that it did.

I hope I did my job getting all of you hungry after this post. Have a good Saturday everyone!

Bon appétit!
