The Human Ecology Students’ Association put on a fashion show on March 22nd at The (old) Common on 124th Street. It was a proud night for the Human Ecology students who had the opportunity to see their own designs sent down the runway.
The guest designer Ashanti Marshall, a Human Ecology alumni, was first on the program. Below, she poses with one of her models.
ECO-Style Students’ Association sent incredible vintage pieces from around the world down the runway. This lucky model got to wear my two favourite pieces, the rust orange bow shorts and the gorgeous beaded skirt.
The evening ended with an array of impressive designs created by Human Ecology students.
This lovely lady modelled the shirt that I designed and sewed in the fall. It was a pretty cool experience to see it on someone else.
