Day seven: Jingle Jeans
After lunching with my brother and dad today I noticed there were sales in almost every store. Just for fun, I decided to try my luck at the more high-end clothing stores.
Firstly, I headed to Holt Renfrew almost as a joke but, with a glimmer of hope that I could find cheap sale items. As it turns out, I found tie-dyed leggings for $19 and since I wanted some last year I had to get them. What a steal!
Next, I had the idea to go to HighGrade Clothing to see if they were having sales and to find a top to go with my new leggings. I walked out with two new pairs of jeans from Cheap Monday. Below is one of those pairs. The jeans were only $75 originally and I got them for under $60 each. Suffice to say, that I will no longer write off the idea of buying designer jeans because, as I learned today, they can be around the same price as jeans from Gap or Le Château and possibly be of better quality.
These are the first designer jeans I’ve ever purchased and I’m quite happy with them and surprised at how comfortable they are. With the devilish cold outside in the past few weeks, I knew it was time for me to invest in a few good pairs of jeans. I have no idea how I managed to wear tights and dresses last winter but I cannot foresee that happening again this year.
